Court fees are understood to be the amount that the litigance must pay when the court settles a case by a decision or judgment already in effect of the Court.
On the contrary, court fees are understood to be the amount that the involved or the requester must pay when requesting the People's Court to issue papers or settle civil cases in accordance with law.
For divorce fees with foreign elements, based onResolution No. 326/2016/UBTVQH14:
- The fee for first instance to settle a request for a favorable divorce, without disputes related to property is VND 300,000;
- The court fee for first instance settlement of disputes over divorce with foreign elements in case of unilateral divorce is VND 300,000. In case of unilateral divorce with foreign elements which have the value of disputed assets exceeding VND 6 million or more, they must also pay the fee for requesting the division of assets based on % of the value of disputed assets;
- The fee for offshore verification of judicial mandate is VND 200,000.
